Mental Magic
Write the following four columns on a piece of paper, labelling them A - D.

Give the sheet to a friend and ask them to think of a number between 1 and 15. Then ask him to tell you which columns that number appears in. Without even looking at the list of numbers you can tell them what number he or she is thinking of.
How? It's simple. Memorise the top four numbers 1, 2, 4, 8 then when they tell you which columns their number appears in add the relevant top numbers together and you'll have the answer.
For example - you friends number is in column B, C, & D. Add together the top numbers in each of these columns (2 +4 + 8) to discover that the number you friend selected was 14.
